The Office of the Mechanism for Foreign Investment Security Review (National Development and Reform Commission) legally and in accordance with regulations has issued a prohibition on the foreign acquisition of the Manus project, requiring the parties involved to withdraw from the acquisition transaction.
According to a document issued by the National Development and Reform Commission on April 27th, the Office of the Foreign Investment Security Review Mechanism (National Development and Reform Commission) has made a decision to prohibit foreign investment in the acquisition of Manus project in accordance with the law and regulations, and has required the parties involved to cancel the acquisition transaction.
