This collaboration will combine BlackBerry Limited's high-performance, security-certified QNX real-time operating system (RTOS) with NVIDIA Corporation's advanced AI computing hardware platform. This combination aims to develop secure and reliable AI solutions to meet stringent security standards and meet the growing demand for edge AI technology.
Additionally, it was reported that BlackBerry Limited aims to achieve double-digit revenue growth in fiscal year 2027, driven by its QNX real-time operating system as the software expands into the AI and Siasun Robot&Automation markets, surpassing its foundation in the automotive sector. The company has stated that approximately 20% of QNX revenue comes from outside the automotive sector.
