On Friday, the Nasdaq China Golden Dragon Index opened up 1.3%, with most popular Chinese concept stocks rising at the start of trading. NIO Inc. Sponsored ADR Class A (NIO.US) rose over 7%, HSAI.US rose over 5%, KINGSOFT CLOUD (KC.US) rose over 3%, Baidu Inc Sponsored ADR Class A (BIDU.US), PDD Holdings Inc. Sponsored ADR Class A (PDD.US) rose over 2%, and Alibaba Group Holding Limited Sponsored ADR (BABA.US) rose over 1%. In terms of news, on the evening of April 10th, the US delegation participating in the US-Iran negotiations departed for Islamabad, Pakistan, and US Vice President Pence has already boarded the plane. Before departing, Pence expressed anticipation for negotiations on the Iran issue, stating that US President Trump has provided "fairly clear guidance" on the negotiations. Additionally, the US Department of Labor released the highly anticipated CPI data for March, with US March CPI increasing by 3.30% year-on-year, compared to an expected increase of 3.40% and a previous increase of 2.40%. The US March core consumer price index increased by 2.6% year-on-year, estimated at 2.7%, with a previous value of 2.5%; and increased by 0.2% on a monthly basis, compared to an estimated increase of 0.3%. Following the release of the US March CPI data, traders increased bets on the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates once this year.
