The central bank added 12 new DIGIHUMAN RMB operating institutions.

To implement the decision of the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" on the steady development of DIGIHUMAN currency, in order to further enhance the inclusiveness of DIGIHUMAN currency services, to continuously respond to the needs of the people for safe, convenient, and efficient DIGIHUMAN currency services, the People's Bank of China has added CITIC BANK, CEB BANK, Hua Xia Bank, China Minsheng Banking Corp., Ltd., Guangfa Bank, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, China Zheshang Bank, Bank Of Ningbo, Bank Of Jiangsu, Bank Of Beijing, Bank Of Nanjing, Bank Of Suzhou as banking institutions for the operation of DIGIHUMAN currency business, and connected them to the central bank's DIGIHUMAN currency system. The new institutions will conduct DIGIHUMAN currency business after completing business and technical preparations. Next, the People's Bank of China will orderly promote the expansion of operational institutions based on marketization and the rule of law, further stimulate the enthusiasm and creativity of market entities, and build an open, inclusive, fair and competitive environment for the development of DIGIHUMAN currency.
