ST HLDGS (08305) announced that the Group is expected to incur a comprehensive loss of not less than approximately HK$19 million for the year ending December 31, 2025, while the loss for the year ending December 31, 2024 was approximately HK$3.1 million.
The expected loss for this year is mainly attributed to the following factors: an increase in income tax expense due to impairment of deferred tax assets recognized this year; and an increase in impairment of contract assets recognized this year.
The Board of Directors believes that the above non-cash impairment provisions have had an adverse impact on the Group's performance for this year. Excluding the impact of such impairment provisions, the Group's underlying operating performance would meet the Board's expectations.
