BOPP electrical film is an insulation material made from polypropylene resin through a biaxial stretching process. It has characteristics such as good self-healing, high pressure resistance, good thickness uniformity, low dielectric loss, and low specific gravity. Downstream applications include polypropylene film for thin film capacitors (capacitor film) and composite copper foil-based film. In thin film capacitors, BOPP electrical film accumulates charges between the two separated electrodes, serving as the core raw material for thin film capacitors. Its performance directly affects core indicators such as capacitor value, stability, and lifespan. In lithium battery composite current collectors, BOPP electrical film can be used as a negative electrode composite copper foil-based film, effectively improving battery safety and reducing costs, making it a key emerging development direction in the lithium battery field. With the rapid development of emerging applications such as new energy vehicles, renewable energy, flexible AC/DC transmission systems, and composite current collectors, the company's BOPP electrical film industry will face broader market opportunities and development space.
Ultra-thin, high temperature resistant, and high pressure resistant are the key development directions for BOPP electrical film and are recognized as technical challenges in the industry. Through long-term technological research and process accumulation, the company has continuously made breakthroughs in key technical indicators such as ultra-thin, high temperature resistance, and high pressure resistance. Currently, in different product series, stable mass production of iconic products such as 1.9m ultra-thin film, 125C high-temperature resistant film, 900V ultra-thin film, and 2,000V special pulse film can be achieved respectively. These products are widely used in new energy vehicles, renewable energy, flexible AC/DC transmission systems, and other emerging fields. The company's technological strength is in a leading position in the industry, and its products maintain good consistency. It has established stable cooperative relationships with leading domestic thin film capacitor producers such as Xiamen Faratronic, Yingfeng Electronics, as well as leading international thin film capacitor producers like TDK and KEMET, gaining high recognition from many downstream customers. According to statistics from the China Electronic Components Industry Association, in 2024, the company's sales of polypropylene film for capacitors ranked second globally and first domestically, with market shares of 11.7% and 16.4% in the global and domestic markets respectively.
In the field of new energy, thin film capacitors have become one of the main types of capacitors, and the sales scale of the company's BOPP electrical film products is continuously increasing. At the same time, the company is actively researching and producing products in emerging application fields. In the future, with the mass production of automotive power batteries and energy storage batteries using composite current collectors, the company's BOPP electrical film is expected to have even larger application scenarios.
Financially, the company achieved operating income of approximately 550 million yuan, 528 million yuan, 734 million yuan, and 367 million yuan in 2022, 2023, 2024, and January to June 2025 respectively. During the same period, the company's net profits were approximately 192 million yuan, 141 million yuan, 238 million yuan, and 125 million yuan respectively.
