On March 12, the Hong Kong dollar interbank interest rates generally increased, with the overnight interbank rate at 1.57155%, up 2.774 basis points; the one-week interbank rate increased by 0.518 basis points to 1.6431%, while the two-week interbank rate remained unchanged at 1.7372%. The one-month interbank rate related to property loans remained unchanged at 2.02982%, reflecting the cost of bank funds. The three-month interbank rate, which reflects the cost of bank funds, increased by 1.041 basis points to 2.37226%. As for longer-term rates, the six-month interbank rate decreased by 0.333 basis points to 2.60375%, while the one-year interbank rate declined by 0.97 basis points to 2.77607%.
