Global Network quoted the latest news from Al Jazeera TV, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that as world leaders increase diplomatic efforts to end military conflicts, Tehran's primary condition for a ceasefire is "no further aggressive acts". Araghchi added that several countries, including Russia, have been in contact with Iran to promote a ceasefire. Earlier reports stated that the Kremlin announced on the 9th that Russian President Putin and US President Trump discussed the situation in Iran on the phone, with Putin suggesting a swift end to the conflict surrounding Iran.

According to CCTV International News, Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi stated in an interview with PBS that he does not think the new Supreme Leader of Iran will consider dialogue with the US or renegotiation. Araghchi emphasized that the slowdown or even halting of oil production and transportation in the Middle East, making the region unsafe, is the responsibility of the US and Israel, and Iran is "not responsible" for this- it is a "war imposed on Iran", and what Iran is doing is "legitimate and justified self-defense."
