MEILAN AIRPORT (00357) announces that on February 13, 2026, the company entered into a power supply agreement with Hai Kong Energy, who agreed to provide electricity to the company until the end of the fiscal year on December 31, 2026.
The company had previously signed a power trading contract with Hai Kong Energy in March 2025, which was valid until December 31, 2026, with Hai Kong Energy being the lowest bidder at that time. In accordance with the latest requirements issued by the Development and Reform Commission of Hainan Province for participants in the electricity retail market in Hainan Province, the company must adjust its existing electricity pricing packages, and both parties need to re-sign the power supply agreement. Failure to comply with the regulations and complete the new contract filing will result in the company being excluded from the market and facing higher electricity costs. By entering into the power supply agreement, the company will be able to comply with the revised regulatory system and avoid the potential adverse consequences mentioned above. In addition, through the new agreement, the company will also be able to negotiate a more favorable electricity price with Hai Kong Energy, who is willing to commit to ensuring that the company's electricity prices do not exceed the average agent purchase price of the grid during the validity period of the power supply agreement. Therefore, the directors believe that the company will be able to obtain a more favorable electricity price arrangement.
