A-share market closing review | Index collectively rose! Trading volume exceeded 3 trillion again, commercial aerospace ignited space photovoltaics! Many broad-based ETFs also saw high trading volume.
As of the close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose by 0.33%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose by 0.79%, and the ChiNext Index rose by 0.63%.
On January 23, the three major indexes of A-shares closed slightly higher, with trading volume exceeding 3 trillion again. As of the close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose by 0.33%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose by 0.79%, and the ChiNext Index rose by 0.63%. Individual stocks on the Beishang Exchange showed strength, with the BSE 50 Index rising by over 3%.
Of note, several Shanghai and Shenzhen 300 ETFs saw a surge in trading volume during the day. As of now, the trading volume of the ChinaAMC CSI 300 ETF (510310) reached 16.4 billion yuan, setting a new high since its listing, the trading volume of the Bosera CSI 300 ETF (510300) was nearly 19 billion yuan, the trading volume of the Huaxia CSI 300 ETF (510330) exceeded 11.5 billion yuan, and the trading volume of the Jiashi CSI 300 ETF (159919) exceeded 9 billion yuan. Galaxy Futures believes that despite the unusual trading activity in broad-based index ETFs, it does not affect market activity, and the adjustment of stock indexes is limited.
In terms of market performance, the commercial aerospace sector saw a surge in solar photovoltaic stocks, with over 20 stocks hitting the limit up, including LONGi Green Energy Technology. At the same time, the commercial aerospace industry chain continued its strong performance, with Juli Sling Co., Ltd. hitting the limit up for three straight days. The non-ferrous metal and precious metal sector saw a resurgence, with Baiyin Nonferrous Group hitting the limit up for four consecutive days. The pharmaceutical commercial and innovative drugs sector showed strength, with Yifeng Pharmacy Chain hitting the limit up. Media and AI application concepts continued to rebound, with Zhewen Interactive Group hitting the limit up for two days in a row. The power grid equipment sector saw a rise, with San Bian Science & Technology hitting the limit up. On the downside, the gas and coal sectors saw a pullback, with the insurance and banking sectors leading the decline.
Looking ahead, Debon Securities believes that the recent market trading volume remains at historical highs, indicating that funds remain active. The adjustment of some popular sectors in the previous period has released risks, paving the way for further rise.
