Beijing, January 19th (Xinhua) - The Supreme People's Procuratorate deployed aspects of fully utilizing the rule of law to serve high-quality development at the National Procurator-General's Conference held in Beijing on January 19th. The Supreme Procuratorate demanded that procuratorial organs safeguard economic and financial security in accordance with the law, severely punish serious economic crimes, and promote the creation of a legal and business-friendly environment. The Supreme Procuratorate emphasized cracking down on crimes such as smuggling strategic mineral exports, safeguarding national strategic interests, and working together with the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission to regulate illegal financial intermediaries in the financial sector according to the law, harshly punishing crimes such as illegal fundraising and financial fraud, and cracking down on the entire chain of financial "black" and "grey" industries to ensure the stable operation of the financial market and protect the property of the people. It is important to intensify efforts in anti-money laundering, particularly in punishing crimes related to the use of underground banks and virtual currency for money laundering. The Supreme Procuratorate proposed to deepen the rule of law construction in the capital market in cooperation with the China Securities Regulatory Commission, improve the mechanism of procuratorates stationed in securities, crack down on securities crimes such as financial fraud and market manipulation in a strict manner, and safeguard the security of the capital market. The Supreme Procuratorate stressed focusing on strengthening the domestic cycle and providing legal services for the development of a strong domestic market and accelerating the construction of a high-level socialist market economy system. Adhere to and implement the principle of "two unwavering", implement laws promoting private economy and equally protecting various types of business entities. Coordinate and improve the long-term mechanism for standardizing law enforcement involving enterprises, strengthen property rights law enforcement and judicial protection. Deepen the specialized supervision of cross-regional law enforcement violations and opportunistic law enforcement, improve supervision measures, focus on correcting prominent and common issues in law enforcement involving enterprises, and promote comprehensive treatment. Strengthen anti-monopoly and anti-unfair competition judicial work and provide legal services for the construction of a unified national large market. In terms of strengthening judicial protection of new quality production forces, the Supreme Procuratorate proposed that making high-level technological self-reliance as a priority to support the development of new quality production forces according to local conditions; focusing on strengthening original innovation and the judicial protection of key core technology intellectual property rights, enhancing research and guidance on cutting-edge judicial issues related to artificial intelligence, embodied intelligence, data intellectual property rights, and legally protecting the legitimate rights of science and technology innovation subjects; deepening supervision of malicious intellectual property litigation, coordinating special rectification in the intellectual property agency industry with the State Intellectual Property Office, promoting the creation of a good innovation ecosystem.
