The Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department predicts that during the peak period of Christmas and New Year, there will be 1200 flights taking off and landing daily.
Andy.Y.T. HO, Airport Authority Hong Kong's General Manager for Airport Services, stated that it is expected that December 24th to December 26th will experience a peak in outbound flights, while January 1st to January 4th will see a peak in inbound flights. It is estimated that there will be approximately 1200 flights taking off and landing each day, with over 1220 flights expected on December 24th (Christmas Eve). In terms of passenger traffic, during this year's Easter holiday, there were 200,000 passengers at the peak period in a single day. It is believed that during the upcoming Christmas and New Year period, the passenger flow will be similar to this figure.
