CrowdStrike Deepens AWS Partnership as Federal Demand for Cybersecurity Surges
CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz highlighted the growing importance of the company’s partnership with Amazon Web Services, saying the cybersecurity firm is now “part of the ecosystem” inside AWS. Customers can access CrowdStrike’s Next-Gen SIEM directly from their AWS console, with automated billing and simplified deployment. Kurtz said this native integration is expected to drive momentum and bring in new users across AWS’ large customer base.
The company delivered better-than-expected earnings, with shares climbing modestly after reporting strong top and bottom-line performance. Kurtz told CNBC’s Jim Cramer that CrowdStrike’s technology also enhances AWS’ competitive positioning against rival cloud providers by offering advanced security capabilities.
A major highlight of the quarter came from the public sector. CrowdStrike reported a strong federal performance, including a large U.S. government agency replacing over 75,000 legacy endpoints with CrowdStrike’s Falcon platform. Kurtz said federal agencies are operating more like businesses, prioritizing consolidation, cost efficiency and stronger security outcomes at a time when staffing levels have declined.
He added that nation-state threats remain highly active, making modern protection essential. CrowdStrike, he said, is positioned to help safeguard national interests as cybersecurity risks continue to escalate.
