RIZHAO PORT JR (06117) announces that the Board of Directors has been informed by the company's controlling shareholder, Rizhao Port Co., Ltd., of their purchase of 44 million H shares of the company through bulk trading on the open market at an average price of approximately HK $0.798 per share on the date of this announcement, demonstrating confidence in the company's future development. The total consideration for this transaction is approximately HK $35.11 million.
Following this increase in shareholding, Rizhao Port Co., Ltd. now holds a total of 884 million shares of the company on the date of this announcement, representing approximately 53.25% of the total issued share capital. Of these, Rizhao Port Co., Ltd. holds 840 million domestic shares, representing approximately 50.60% of the total issued share capital, and 44 million H shares, representing approximately 2.65% of the total issued share capital.
