According to the disclosure of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on October 24, Shanghai Huihui North Electro-Optic Co., Ltd. (688538.SH) has submitted its listing application to the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, with CICC as the sole sponsor. The company had previously submitted a listing application to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on April 23, 2025.
According to the prospectus, Huihui Optoelectronics is a leading manufacturer of AMOLED semiconductor display panels, focusing on research and production to provide people with extraordinary true colors, outstanding visual experience, and low power consumption AMOLED semiconductor display panels. In 2014, Huihui Optoelectronics became the first company in China to successfully mass produce AMOLED semiconductor display panels with the 4.5th generation AMOLED production line. Huihui Optoelectronics further expanded its production capacity with the 6th generation AMOLED production line, achieving mass production in 2019 and successfully expanding into the field of large-size AMOLED semiconductor display panels.
According to the data from Zhiyi Consulting, the shipment volume of large-size AMOLED display panels is showing strong momentum and has considerable growth potential in the future. Based on sales volume in 2024, Huihui Optoelectronics ranked third globally and first in China. In the global display panel industry, the application of AMOLED display technology is expected to steadily grow compared to other widely used display technologies such as LCD. The global penetration rate of general AMOLED display products in the display panel industry is expected to increase from 29.2% in 2024 to 35.8% in 2030. Huihui Optoelectronics focuses on promoting and facilitating the deep application of AMOLED display panels in various fields, especially in market areas with strong growth momentum and potential, to achieve continuous performance growth. Based on sales volume in 2024, Huihui Optoelectronics ranks second globally and first in China in the tablet/notebook computer field, with a market share of 63.4% among all domestic manufacturers at the same time. In the automotive display field, based on sales volume in 2024, Huihui Optoelectronics ranks fourth globally and second in China.
Huihui Optoelectronics has maintained a cooperation relationship with leading Chinese smart terminal equipment providers for over ten years. The company's AMOLED semiconductor display panels have served leading consumer electronic brands such as Honor and Transsion, as well as two of the top five Chinese automakers.
Huihui Optoelectronics' product supply capabilities cover multiple application areas, including four main application areas: tablet/notebook computers, smartphones, smart wearables, and automotive displays. The company's product size range is wide, ranging from 0.95-inch small smart wearables to 27-inch large display panels.
In terms of financials, for the fiscal years ending on June 30 in 2022, 2023, 2024, and the six months ending on June 30, 2025, Huihui Optoelectronics had revenues of approximately RMB 4.191 billion, RMB 3.038 billion, RMB 4.958 billion, and RMB 2.670 billion respectively; while in the same periods, the total annual losses and comprehensive losses were approximately RMB 1.602 billion, RMB 3.244 billion, RMB 2.518 billion, and RMB 0.840 billion respectively.
