CENTRAL NEW EGY (01735) and Jilin Huajin have reached a strategic cooperation to jointly promote green methanol and new energy projects.

CENTRAL NEW EGY (01735) announced that on October 16, 2025, Jilin Huajin Energy Co., Ltd. and its wholly-owned subsidiary, CENTRAL NEW EGY Innovation Research Institute Co., Ltd., have entered into a strategic cooperation agreement. According to this agreement, the parties intend to establish a strategic partnership, with CENTRAL NEW EGY Innovation leveraging its strengths in chemical methanol, project investment, green electricity photovoltaic component supply, and energy storage system supply to support Jilin Huajin in building green methanol and related new energy projects. The Board believes that the cooperation framework set forth in the agreement will enable the Group to leverage its experience and capabilities in developing and operating new energy projects. The Board also believes that this cooperation can expand the Group's business opportunities, broaden its sources of revenue, and enhance its financial performance. Therefore, the Board considers that cooperation with Jilin Huajin will be beneficial for the future development of the Group and will be in the overall interest of the Company and its shareholders.
