On Wednesday, Bloom Energy(BE.US) saw its stock price rise, closing at $121.75, up over 6.8% at the time of writing. In terms of news, the company announced a strategic partnership worth $5 billion with asset management giant Brookfield on October 13, jointly reimagining the future landscape of artificial intelligence infrastructure.
Under the partnership agreement, Brookfield will invest up to $5 billion to deploy Bloom Energy's solid oxide fuel cell technology. The two companies plan to jointly design and construct multiple "artificial intelligence factories", with a European project set to be officially announced within the year.
This collaboration marks Brookfield's first investment through its dedicated artificial intelligence infrastructure strategy, aimed at addressing the increasing power demands of AI data centers.
