Seoul, South Korea will host Fintech Week to discuss AI in finance and stablecoin trends.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 25th that it will hold "Seoul Fintech Week 2026" from the 26th to the 28th at the Conrad Seoul hotel in Yeouido and the IFC area. "Seoul Fintech Week," which began in 2006 as the "Seoul International Finance Conference," invites experts and companies from the global fintech industry to jointly explore the development potential and future competitiveness of Seoul's financial industry. This year's event is co-hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, the Financial Supervisory Service, Shinhan Financial Group, and other organizations, and will focus on cutting-edge technologies such as financial AI agents and data-driven customized financial services, exploring how these technologies will transform the financial industry and the daily lives of citizens. A "Roadshow Day" will be held on the 27th to support financing and commercialization for innovative fintech companies. On the final day of the event, a "Digital Finance Seminar" will be held at IFC The Forum. Participating experts will hold discussions on hot topics such as agentic AI and stablecoins, exchanging views on trends in the changing financial environment.
