Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index Series to Undergo Major Adjustment Starting Tomorrow

Zhitong Finance APP has learned that the Shanghai Stock Exchange issued the "Announcement on Revising the Compilation Plans of the SSE Series Composite Indices" on September 24, stating that after study, the Shanghai Stock Exchange and China Securities Index Co., Ltd. have decided to revise the compilation plans of some SSE series composite indices. This revision involves a total of 4 indices, namely the SSE Composite Index, the SSE A Share Index, the SSE Free Float Index, and the STAR Composite Index. The revision of the compilation plans for the above indices and their derivative indices will be implemented on October 26, 2026.
