Brazil's presidential election final TV debate concludes.
On the evening of October 23 local time, Brazil's incumbent President and Workers' Party candidate Lula and former President Jair Bolsonaro's son, Liberal Party candidate Flavio Bolsonaro, held the last televised debate before the second round of Brazil's presidential election, with both sides focusing on issues such as the cost of living, the minimum wage, public security and infrastructure investment. During the debate, Lula demanded that Bolsonaro apologize to him for calling him "Nine Fingers." Lula said he had lost a finger at work, while Bolsonaro "has never worked a real day in his life." Bolsonaro retorted by asking whether he could apologize to Lula over the matter, but would Lula apologize to the homeless people whose numbers doubled during his administration? Lula responded that Brazil's elite should apologize for the country's historical problems.
