China Everbright Environment: Plans to invest no more than 700 million yuan to participate in the privatization of Zheneng Jinjiang

China Science Environmental Protection announced that the company, in the form of an equity participation, has established Clean Energy Investment Limited in Hong Kong together with other shareholders. As the offeror, it has launched a tender offer to Zhejiang Energy Jinjiang to implement a privatization project, with an investment amount of no more than RMB 700 million, funded by its own funds. The company currently holds a 12.50% stake in Clean Energy Investment; this transaction has been approved by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Zhejiang Province, and still requires approval by Zhejiang Energy Jinjiang's shareholders' meeting as well as filing or approval by domestic and overseas competent authorities.
