In August 2026, China exported 10.155 million tons of steel, up 0.3% month-on-month and up 6.8% year-on-year; the average export price was US$722.2 per ton, up 0.9% month-on-month and up 3.5% year-on-year. From January to August, China cumulatively exported 75.149 million tons of steel, down 3.0% year-on-year; the average export price was US$705.9 per ton, up 1.0% year-on-year.
