The general debate of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly has concluded.

The General Debate of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly concluded on the 28th at UN Headquarters in New York. In his closing remarks, President of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly Rahman said that representatives of 194 delegations, including 113 heads of state and government, took the floor. The speeches centered on issues such as peace, development, human rights, UN reform, and the selection of the next Secretary-General. Rahman noted that artificial intelligence has become the central topic of this session's General Debate. Four years ago, only 5 delegations mentioned artificial intelligence, while at this session's General Debate, a total of 128 delegations addressed the topic. This figure is higher than the number of delegations that spoke about climate change and human rights.
