NIO's Li Bin: 4,125 battery swap stations nationwide have formed an 8GWh energy storage network.

On September 27, William Li, Chairman of NIO, said at the Power UP 2026 NIO Power Day event that NIO has put 4,125 battery swap stations into operation, which can form an 8 GWh energy storage network to serve car owners and even society. Li introduced that the 4,125th NIO battery swap station has been put into operation at Sayram Lake. This battery swap route starts from Xi'an, Shaanxi in the east and ends at Khorgos, Xinjiang in the west, with a total length of 3,605 kilometers and a total of 33 battery swap stations. After the route is fully connected, both NIO and ONVO car owners can experience long-distance pure electric battery swap travel along the Silk Road.
