Qualcomm (QCOM.US) Releases Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Chip: TSMC 2nm Process, Targeting Apple A20 Pro with Focus on "On-Device AI Agents"

Zhito Finance APP has learned that Qualcomm (QCOM.US) has released its latest chipset for Android phones, tuned for on-device AI, and will compete with the A20 Pro in Apple's (AAPL.US) iPhone. Qualcomm said in a press release on Tuesday that the new chip, branded "Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6," will be manufactured using TSMC's 2-nanometer process and will be adopted by flagship smartphones from companies such as Motorola, Xiaomi, and ZTE. Qualcomm is launching two versions this time, one of which has additional capabilities and carries the "Extreme" brand.
