On August 24, the Hong Kong dollar interbank offered rates rose across the board, with the one-month HIBOR related to mortgage loans reporting 2.69452%, an increase of 0.875 basis points; the three-month HIBOR, which reflects bank funding costs, reported 2.94452%, up 0.946 basis points. The overnight rate reported 2.75566%, rising by 7.816 basis points; the one-week HIBOR increased by 6.934 basis points to 2.72458%, while the two-week rate rose by 3.506 basis points to 2.68958%. The two-month HIBOR reported 2.85089%, an increase of 1.440 basis points. In terms of long-term rates, the six-month HIBOR remained unchanged at 3.20000%, and the one-year rate also remained unchanged at 3.50000%.
