Huang Renxun: China's supply chain system ranks among the top in the world and can be considered a world-class miracle.
Interview with Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of American company NVIDIA, on global supply chains. When talking about China's supply chain system, he mentioned that it is one of the best in the world and can be considered a global miracle.
Jensen Huang: China operates one of the best supply chain systems in the world, with its scale, complexity, diversity, types of products manufactured, technological content, and the number of companies involved in building the supply chain all being world-class.
China also provides equipment, control systems, and parts for supply chains worldwide, not just for its own supply chain. As global supply chains become more diverse and even redundant, this actually presents a huge opportunity for China to promote its supply chain manufacturing technology globally, as supply chains and production lines are being established all over the world.
However, one thing will not change - no matter what happens, the complete decoupling of global supply chains is simply not possible. The system is too complex and will always remain interconnected, which is necessary and also beneficial, as it is the beauty of supply chains.
Given the complexity of various industries today, it is hard to imagine a world where supply chain systems are not interconnected and interdependent. This interdependence is not only a necessary condition but also a beneficial state, as it enhances our ability to withstand risks. Although the scale of our production in China may not be large, many of our customers and technology partners are part of the supply chain in China.
