As Typhoon "Weipa" gradually moves away, the Macao SAR Government Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau issued the number 8 typhoon signal at 10:30 pm on the 20th and changed it to the number 3 typhoon signal. It is expected that the number 3 typhoon signal will be maintained for a period of time. The Bureau stated that "Weipa" has weakened to a strong tropical storm, and will continue to move in a westward direction, gradually moving away from Macao and weakening. Due to the influence of the outer rain band of "Weipa", there will still be strong winds, heavy rain, and thunderstorms in Macao from the evening of the 20th to the 21st, with wind speeds sometimes reaching 7 to 8 levels. After the number 3 typhoon signal was issued, the four cross-sea bridges in Macao and the Lotus Bridge will resume normal operation. Public services such as buses, light rail, and special taxis will also gradually resume operations.
