National nearly twenty restaurant associations issued a proposal, many local restaurant associations called on food delivery platforms to stop irrational subsidies.

Many catering associations have issued a statement calling on food delivery platforms to stop "involution-style" competition. According to incomplete statistics, since May of this year, catering industry associations and culinary associations from over 10 provinces and autonomous regions including Hubei, Shaanxi, Yunnan, Fujian, Shandong, Guangxi, Shanxi, Xinjiang, as well as Beijing, Qingdao, Dalian, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Chongqing, Datong, Zunyi, Jinan, Luoyang have successively released relevant proposals, calling on food delivery platforms to stop "involution-style" competition, promote the standardized, healthy and sustainable development of the catering industry. As of now, multiple industry associations have jointly called for the three major platforms to stop irrational subsidies, establish a reasonable pricing mechanism, ensure a fair competitive environment, shift towards high-quality development, jointly develop operating agreements, abandon short-term games, and jointly achieve long-term prosperity in the catering ecosystem.
