Typhoon "Weipah", the sixth typhoon of the year, made landfall in Jiangmen Taishan Haiyan Town on the coast on July 20th around 17:50. The Guangdong Provincial Meteorological Observatory predicts that after the typhoon "Weipah" lands, the main rainfall period will be from the night of the 20th to the 21st, with heavy to severe rainfall in the western part of Guangdong and the southern part of the Pearl River Delta region.
