The number of new energy vehicles in Chengdu has reached 1.08 million.

According to the Chengdu Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, as of the end of June this year, the number of new energy vehicles in Chengdu has reached 1.08 million, accounting for 15.1% of the total number of vehicles. Chengdu ranks first among cities without car restrictions, achieving the goal of "by 2025, the city will have 800,000 new energy vehicles, and the electrification rate in the public sector will reach 80%" ahead of schedule.
