The southeastern area of Liaoning Province will see heavy rain, with a need to guard against the risk of flooding in small and medium rivers.
According to the Liaoning Provincial Meteorological Observatory, it is expected that there will be heavy rain and locally heavy rain with strong convective weather in the southeastern part of Liaoning Province from the night of the 20th to the day of the 21st. This rainfall is occurring during the critical period for flood prevention known as "seventh down, eighth up". The accumulated rainfall in the southeastern part of Liaoning is large, increasing the risk of meteorological disasters such as flash floods, geological hazards, flooding of small and medium-sized rivers, urban flash floods, and field waterlogging. Precautions need to be taken to prevent the risk of flooding in small and medium-sized rivers in the Liaodong Peninsula and Yalu River Basin.
