The Zhuhai Meteorological Bureau upgraded the typhoon orange alert signal to red at 3:00 on July 20, 2025. After consultation and analysis by the city's Three Defense Command, it was decided to immediately upgrade the level II wind prevention emergency response to level I. Evacuation shelters in various districts of Zhuhai have been opened to provide shelter for groups in need and evacuees.
