Super Ten Catering Association calls for food delivery platforms to stop "cutthroat competition."

On July 18th, the State Administration for Market Regulation met with three platform companies, including Ele.me, Meituan, and JD, demanding these platforms to further regulate their promotional activities, participate in competition rationally, and jointly build a good ecosystem for consumers, businesses, delivery riders, and platform companies to achieve mutual benefits, promoting the standardized and healthy sustainable development of the catering service industry. According to preliminary statistics, in the past week, catering industry associations in more than 10 provinces and cities including Hubei, Shaanxi, Yunnan, Beijing, Qingdao, Dalian, Datong, Chongqing, and Shenzhen have successively issued relevant proposals, calling for food delivery platforms to stop "zero-sum" competition.
