Hong Kong Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po stated in his blog that there is an inseparable relationship between technology innovation and the cultivation of young talent, and education plays a crucial role in this process. He emphasized that education is the key support for creating a vibrant landscape of "talent emergence, talent maximization, and talent utilization." Hong Kong has outstanding advantages in attracting talent. Since the end of 2022, various talent admission programs have received about 500,000 applications, with 330,000 approvals and around 220,000 people arriving in Hong Kong. In addition, large-scale technology companies and startups have responded to the suggestions of the Financial Budget by bringing cutting-edge experiences and resources to frontline educational scenes such as primary and secondary schools, benefiting more students and teachers, and enriching and enlivening the content of science popularization and education.
