Recently, many places across the country have successively introduced measures to support childbirth and have clearly extended marriage leave. According to incomplete statistics, 28 provinces in the country have now clearly extended marriage leave. Among them, Gansu and Shanxi have the longest marriage leave, with couples who register for marriage being able to enjoy 30 days of leave. At the same time, there is great anticipation for how paid leave will be implemented. Professor Yuan Xin from the School of Economics at Nankai University, in an interview with a reporter from the Shanghai Securities News, stated that in order to ensure the implementation of policy measures, a reasonable mechanism for sharing costs among multiple parties including the government, companies, and individuals should be established. It is worth noting that Hubei Province has actively explored ways to fully implement national and provincial regulations related to marriage leave, maternity leave, nursing leave, and childcare leave, coordinate funds through multiple channels, and establish a reasonable mechanism for sharing costs.
