Zhejiang has been selected as a national-level demonstration site, expected to receive a central subsidy of 2.83 billion yuan.

Recently, the Ministry of Finance announced the results of the competitive evaluation of the Central Finance Land Greening Demonstration Project in 2025. The Nan Taihu Land Greening Demonstration Project in Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, which was applied for, was successfully selected. It is expected to receive a central finance fund subsidy of 283 million yuan, making it the project with the highest central finance subsidy amount in the field of land greening in Zhejiang Province in recent years. The Nan Taihu Land Greening Demonstration Project in Huzhou City is centered around the layout of "one source, one bay, two corridors." It plans to implement the nurturing of 53,232 mu of medium and young forests, restore 215,719 mu of degraded forests, and plant 15,118 mu of artificial forests in the region. The total investment is estimated to be 447 million yuan, which is of great significance for strengthening the protection of Taihu, assisting in the ecological security of northwest Zhejiang, and enhancing the regional ecological system and functions.
