Nantong, Jiangsu: Top talent can enjoy up to 1.5 million yuan in housing subsidies.

On July 18, the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau of Nantong City, the Talent Office of Nantong City Committee, the Finance Bureau of Nantong City, and the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Nantong City jointly issued the "Implementation Rules for Talent Housing Subsidy in Nantong City Area". From July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026, subsidies will be provided for the purchase of new commercial housing in the urban area of Nantong City for talents who stay in Nantong. The maximum subsidy for individuals is 1.5 million yuan. The "Rules" stipulate that the beneficiaries of the talent housing subsidy in the urban area of Nantong not only include talents with a master's degree or above, but also provide tiered subsidies for personnel with senior professional titles and technical qualifications, with subsidies ranging from 150,000 yuan to 1.5 million yuan. At the same time, the "Rules" also have additional provisions for couples who jointly purchase and both meet the conditions for applying for the housing subsidy, allowing the couple to receive up to 1.2 times the subsidy amount for individuals. A relevant person in charge of the Nantong City Housing and Construction Bureau stated that the housing sources applicable for the subsidy have been basically completed and will soon be publicly announced. The application and review work for talent housing subsidies will also be launched simultaneously.
