Total investment exceeds 5 billion yuan, Guotou Meizhou Bay thermal power plant new project has started construction.

On the 18th, construction of the Guotou Meizhou Bay Third Power Plant 2 660MW project began on the banks of Meizhou Bay in Putian. With a total investment exceeding 5 billion yuan, the construction period is 25 months. Once operational, it will directly supply power to the southern power load center, alleviating the difficulty of power transmission along the north-south corridor in Fujian Province.
