Affected by typhoon "Weipa", starting from the 19th, several scenic spots in Guangzhou have implemented temporary closures and suspended operations. The Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area Management Bureau of Guangzhou issued a warm reminder to prevent and respond to the secondary disasters that may be caused by the 6th typhoon "Weipa" this year, ensuring the personal and property safety of the general public and tourists. Starting from 6:00 pm on July 19, 2025, Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area will be temporarily closed, ticket sales will be suspended, vehicles will be prohibited from entering the park, and the Baiyun Cableway and sightseeing vehicles will be temporarily suspended. According to the information from Guangzhou Tower, Guangzhou Tower will suspend operations on July 20, and the resumption of opening hours is to be determined. Citizens and tourists who have booked tickets for Guangzhou Tower can apply for a full refund through the original ticket purchasing channel; on July 20, Haixin Bridge will be closed, and the time for reopening is to be determined.
