The reporter learned from the flood control, drought prevention, and wind prevention headquarters of Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province that according to the meteorological department's forecast, Typhoon "Weipa", the 6th of the year, will bring severe wind and rain impact to Zhuhai City from the 20th to early morning of the 21st. In order to fully ensure the safety of people's lives and property, after comprehensive analysis and reporting to the municipal government for approval, the Zhuhai City Three Defense Headquarters plans to upgrade the typhoon defense level II emergency response to level I starting at 3:00 on July 20th, and implement the "Five Halts" throughout the city. The typhoon level I emergency response is expected to be lifted after the "Five Halts" are lifted.
