Gree's response to issues related to complaint platforms: lacks objective basis and credibility.
Gree released a statement stating that recently, the company found that a complaint platform claiming to be "Consumer Protection" on the internet had published a ranking of the number of after-sales complaints and resolution rates of home appliance companies. The relevant content has been quoted and spread by media such as China Economic Net. Upon investigation, it was found that this platform is a non-governmental organization without official qualifications. The sources and statistical methods of the ranking data are not transparent, lacking objective basis and credibility. The platform claims to be a "Consumer Service Guarantee Platform" under the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce. Public information shows that its operating entity was originally "Shenzhen Consumer Protection Information Technology Co., Ltd." According to the National Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System, this company was included in the list of seriously illegal and dishonest enterprises by the Nanshan Branch of the Shenzhen Market Supervision and Administration Bureau on August 19, 2021, and its business license was revoked on May 5, 2022. In response to the behavior of this platform, the company has completed evidence preservation for the relevant links, and has already entrusted lawyers to take legal measures to resolutely defend the legitimate rights and interests of the company and consumers.
