On July 18th, Duan Xiangdong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Aluminum Corporation of China (Chinalco), met with Lv Zhiqiang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China First Heavy Industries (CFHI), at the group's headquarters to discuss deepening strategic cooperation in serving national strategies. Duan Xiangdong pointed out that he hopes both sides can expand and deepen cooperation in areas such as mining equipment and high-end advanced materials on the basis of consolidating existing cooperation achievements. Lv Zhiqiang stated that Chinalco is an important strategic partner of CFHI, and he hopes to further expand cooperation in new areas and strengthen cooperation in areas such as industrial chain synergy and technological research and development.
