Polls show that the support rate for the Japanese Ishiba Cabinet has dropped close to the point of being dissolved.
According to Japanese media reports on July 19, the latest opinion poll shows that the approval rating of the current Japanese Prime Minister Shizo Abe's cabinet has dropped to 20.8%, a decrease of 6.2 percentage points from June, the lowest since taking office. In Japanese politics, a cabinet approval rating below 30% is considered to be entering "dangerous territory" by public opinion. If it further drops below 20%, it will be seen as entering "resignation territory".
