Ministry of Commerce: From January to June 2025, a total of 423.23 billion yuan of foreign investment was absorbed in the country, a year-on-year decrease of 15.2%.

According to the Securities Times app, data released by the Ministry of Commerce on July 19 showed that from January to June 2025, a total of 30,014 new foreign-invested enterprises were established nationwide, an increase of 11.7% compared to the same period last year; the actual amount of foreign investment used was 423.23 billion yuan, a decrease of 15.2% year-on-year.
