According to the information from the China Meteorological Administration, Typhoon "Wipha" is currently at the level of a strong tropical storm. At 3:00 PM today, the center of the typhoon was located in the northeast of the South China Sea, about 730 kilometers east of Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province, with maximum winds near the center reaching force 10. It is expected that "Wipha" will move in a west-northwest direction at a speed of 25-30 kilometers per hour, gradually increasing in intensity. Tomorrow afternoon to night, it is expected to make landfall along the coast from Shenzhen in Guangdong to Wenchang in Hainan. The Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a typhoon yellow warning this morning. Due to the combined impact of "Wipha" and the southwest monsoon, it is expected that from this afternoon to tomorrow, the wind force in the northern part of the South China Sea, the Bashi Strait, and the northern part of the Taiwan Strait may reach force 8-10, with gusts of 11-12. In the sea areas near the center of the typhoon, the wind force may reach 11-13, with gusts of 14-15.
