According to the current forecast from the Central Meteorological Observatory, Typhoon "Weipa" is predicted to bring a storm surge of 120 to 180 centimeters to the Pearl River Estuary on July 20th to 21st. During this period, it will coincide with the astronomical small tide period, and coastal stations along the Pearl River Estuary in the Nansha District will experience high tides approaching or reaching the warning level. The high tide period will be in the evening of the 20th and the morning of the 21st.
