Nanning Customs announced on the evening of the 18th that in the first half of this year, Guangxi's import and export trade with ASEAN countries reached 206.08 billion yuan, an increase of 11.9% compared to the same period last year, accounting for 53.2% of Guangxi's total foreign trade value during the same period. Among them, Guangxi's import and export trade with Vietnam reached 149.88 billion yuan, an increase of 4.3%. Guangxi maintained its position as the largest port of entry and exit for trade with Vietnam, accounting for 38.2% of China's total trade with Vietnam. Data provided by Nanning Customs shows that in the first half of this year, Guangxi's total foreign trade volume reached 387.15 billion yuan, an increase of 13%, which is 10.1 percentage points higher than the growth rate of China's foreign trade. In terms of exports, Guangxi mainly exports electromechanical and labor-intensive products, with a remarkable performance in lithium battery exports, which increased by 184.9%. In terms of imports, the value of bulk commodity imports increased, reaching 90.23 billion yuan, accounting for 59.2%.
