This marks the official opening of the direct flight route from Xi'an to Tashkent by Eastern Airlines. The new Xi'an to Tashkent route, flight number MU855/6, operates on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The flight takes off from Xi'an at 12:15 Beijing time and arrives in the Uzbekistan capital Tashkent at 14:50 local time. The return flight departs at 16:10 local time and arrives in Xi'an at 00:05 the next day Beijing time.
