McDonald's China CEO: China is the fastest-growing market for McDonald's global restaurants.

During the third Chain Expo, Zhang Jiayin, the CEO of McDonald's China, stated in an interview that China is the fastest-growing market for McDonald's worldwide, with over half of new McDonald's restaurants opening in China each year. This year marks the 35th anniversary of McDonald's entry into mainland China. Zhang Jiayin said that there are now more than 7,000 McDonald's restaurants in China, with an estimated 1,000 new restaurants expected to open this year, on average, one new restaurant opening every 10 hours.
